Napa Valley Vineyard Wedding with Sunflowers & Shades of Blue

On my first correspondence with Erin and Frank, I replied back with “EFGH” in the subject line, an acronym for “Erin & Frank Get Hitched” — which they immediately adopted as their wedding emblem. From the very beginning we were aligned and insync with what would make their multi-day wedding celebration the best experience for their guests and the greatest beginning to their marriage.

Amongst the venues vineyard, their wedding ceremony was set to the backdrop of the Mayacama Mountains. We created a whimsical winery motif in varying shades of blue, punctuated by pops of yellow, peach and tangerine. Sunflowers are Erin’s favorites, so they made a special appearance throughout the floral installments and arrangements, including in her bouquet and Frank’s boutonnière. The modern rustic wooden arch came to life with delicate bunches of greenery and bright citrusy blooms, blending sunflowers with champagne peonies at the altar.

The wedding couple and their party sat at a honey colored wooden farm head table with a rich and luxuriant garland dotted with feathery flowers. The reception tables were dressed in two different fabrics — a subtle powder blue woven linen and a sapphire blue velvet linen. Gold flatware and gold rimmed chargers were paired with smokey spherical glassware and velvet pewter napkins. Gathered in contemporary white compotes, the centerpieces were playful in sherbet colors and springtime textures.

With a ten piece band, live music was the soundtrack to their wedding day. Artwork of the couples two dogs was featured on their signature cocktail menu. Guests dined on a fusion of Italian cuisine and California fare. At the end of the night, everyone enjoyed artisan ice cream; an assortment of desserts; popcorn; sliders and french fries — the perfect finale to their wedding!
