A Marriage of Rock 'n' Romance at a SoCal Country Club

With one of the sweetest ‘meet cute’ stories, Danielle and Vic were together almost a decade before tying the knot, but they always knew this day would come. Danielle is an incredible published model and Vic is a talented singer and musician and best known for being the frontman of Pierce the Veil. One Summer day, casted as the leading lady in his bands music video shoot, they met for the first time and as they say, the rest is history!

Classic romance was the underlying theme of their wedding, highlighting neutral tones with edgy accents in black. As a bride that always had a vision for her wedding since she was a child, Danielle knew she wanted something timeless and enchanted.

The wedding venue coupled French charm and a rustic garden setting with 18th century gates and columns from Provence and a pair of Antique Stone Windows from the South of France reclaimed from the 1700 L'Orangerie. We highlighted the entrance to the ceremony site with an angled floral install by the incredible team of Layered Vintage. The floral ingredients were fluffy, bountiful and undeniably stunning. The ceremony aisle was gently bordered with fragrant white blooms, giving the feeling of walking among the clouds. The oversized pergola was cocooned in delicate large flowers that were intricately woven into the existing vines making the altar feel like an enchanted alcove overgrown and untouched until their wedding day.

Danielle wore a breathtaking gown with the most voluminous skirt full of billowing tulle layers and massive rosettes. An oversized bow on the bodice wrapped Danielle in bridal perfection and sparkling details were sprinkled throughout every inch of her wedding dress and the gown’s train. The groom’s suit was rich in color and texture — a deep chocolate color and woven material was superbly accessorized with a camel colored fedora which was crowned with a petite boutonnière of dried floral and natural grasses. The Wedding Party wore chic suits in all black and floor-length dresses in shades of champagne and rosé.

The cocktail hour lawn had multiple lounge vignettes mixing classic Victorian furniture and contemporary Scandinavian styled pieces creating a duet of exquisite design. The first space the guests experienced was the Welcome Lounge, inspired by a countryside sunroom. The seating assignments were scrolled on a single French door and on vintage windows that were suspended from the rustic arbor. Once inside of the Welcome Lounge, guests delivered their congratulatory envelopes to the acrylic card box placed on the black wooden side table. In lieu of a traditional guestbook, family and friends wrote their well-wishes on custom vinyl records depicting album images from the couples engagement shoot.

All of the graphics and lettering on the wedding stationery was custom made for their celebration. The Save the Dates set the tone in all black with foil imagery depicting moments of the couples love story. The invitations were clean and simple, printed on white paper with the custom black script, tucked into a natural kraft envelope. The guests place cards were one-of-a kind black guitar picks with the same metallic iconography dappled throughout the wedding paper goods.

A mix of pillar and taper candles in sandstone illuminated the tabletops and whimsical greenery hanging from the wooden beams and iron chandeliers romanticized the clubhouse and brought the outdoors inside. The sweetheart table was surrounded by a dense garden of creamy neutral florals and the mantle of the fireplace was adorned with candles. The place settings were embellished with Crystal Stemware, softened with blush napkins and sharpened by black napkin rings and slim black flatware.
